1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using The Fight Club (“the Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use The Fight Club. By creating an account you confirm you meet this requirement. The Platform contains debate content that may include mature or controversial topics — if you are under 18, ensure you have parental consent.
3. Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Do not share your credentials. We reserve the right to terminate accounts at our discretion.
4. Tokens and Purchases
Tokens are virtual in-platform currency with no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. All token purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law. We reserve the right to modify token pricing, availability, and the items purchasable with tokens at any time.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: use automated scripts or bots to submit arguments, exploit bugs or vulnerabilities, harass or abuse other fighters, post personal information of others without consent, or attempt to manipulate AI judging outcomes. Violations may result in account suspension or permanent ban without refund of tokens.
6. User Content
Arguments and messages you post in fight rooms are visible to other users. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a licence to display it on the Platform. Do not post: hate speech, threats, personal identifying information of others, spam, or illegal content. We reserve the right to remove any content at our discretion.
7. AI Judging
Fights are judged in part by an AI system. AI verdicts are final within the Platform. We do not guarantee the accuracy or fairness of AI judgements — by participating in fights you accept this risk. AI judgements do not constitute our opinions or endorsements of any argument.
8. Intellectual Property
All Platform content including the fight room system, cosmetics, imagery, and code are the property of The Fight Club. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Platform without written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. Fight results and AI verdicts are provided without warranty.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Fight Club shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including any disputes arising from fight outcomes.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
